Overview
HomeCare Log does not require an account and does not collect, sell, or use your personal information for advertising or tracking. Your maintenance tasks, home notes, completion history, warranties, costs, and attachments are stored locally on your device. The developer cannot view this content.
Information you provide
You may choose to enter home names, maintenance records, notes, warranty details, costs, photos, and documents. This content is used only to provide the app’s features and remains on your device unless you enable iCloud sync or intentionally export or share it.
iCloud sync
If you enable iCloud sync, Apple stores app data in the private CloudKit database associated with your Apple ID so it can be available across your devices. This data is governed by Apple’s iCloud terms and privacy policy and is not accessible to the HomeCare Log developer.
Notifications
If you grant permission, the app schedules maintenance reminders locally through Apple’s notification system. Notification permission can be changed at any time in iOS Settings.
Purchases
HomeCare Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. HomeCare Log receives only the purchase and entitlement status needed to unlock paid features. The developer does not receive your full payment card or bank details.
Photos, documents, and exports
The app accesses only the photos or documents you deliberately select. Attachments are stored with app data. When you create a PDF report or share content, the destination you choose controls that exported copy.
Analytics and tracking
HomeCare Log does not include third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or developer-operated analytics services.
Data retention and deletion
You can delete records and attachments inside the app. Removing the app deletes local app data from that device. Data synced to your private iCloud account may remain there until you delete it through the app or manage the app’s iCloud data in Apple’s settings.
Children’s privacy
HomeCare Log is a general home utility and is not directed to children. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app’s features or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when an update is published.
